Limit orders in Pepegun
A limit order buys or sells a token for you once the price reaches the level you want. No need to watch the chart: set a price and an amount, and the bot watches the price for you, even when you are not in Telegram.
How it works
- A buy fires when the token price drops to the order price or lower.
- A sell fires when the price rises to the order price or higher.
The order price is the chart price, which is the price in the pool. The pool fee comes on top: on a buy it is added to the price, on a sell it is taken from the proceeds. The bot shows its size right in the order window.
A buy fills no higher than the order price, a sell no lower. If the pool is too small for your whole amount at that price, the order waits until the chart price moves further, and the bot tells you once.
The order stays active until it fills, until you delete it, or until its expiry passes, if you set one.
Where to create an order
There are two ways.
- From the token card. Send the bot a token address and its card opens. Among the amount buttons, tap Limit. The order window opens on the same side as the card: buy or sell.
- From the main menu. Tap 📊 Limit orders, then New order, and send the token address.
Limit orders work only in a private chat with the bot.
The limit order window
At the top you see the token card with its stats, then the selected wallets with their balances. The «📥 You get» line shows what you get if the order fills at its price. «At least N» means a guaranteed minimum. «≈ N» means an estimate, for example when the amount is set in percent and only becomes exact when the order is created or fills.
Below it is the «⚙️ Limit Order Settings» table with your choices. Then set it up step by step.
1. Choose buy or sell
Tap ⬆️ Buy or ⬇️ Sell. The chosen side is marked ✅.
- A buy defaults to 1 GRAM.
- A sell defaults to 100% of the tokens in the wallet.
Switching sides resets the price, so set it again. Take Profit and Stop Loss exist only on a buy, so they are removed when you switch to sell.
2. Choose wallets
The wallet buttons show balances: GRAM for a buy, the token for a sell. Tap a wallet to turn it on or off. With more than one wallet you also get Select all. With more than four wallets, use the arrows to page through them.
Each selected wallet gets its own order. An amount in GRAM or $ applies to each wallet separately.
Wallets connected via TonConnect are not shown here. The reason is explained below, in «Good to know».
3. Set the price
Tap 📊 Price. The bot asks for the price and shows how you can set it. The chosen way is marked ✅.
| Way | What to enter |
|---|---|
| in GRAM | The price of one token in GRAM |
| in % | For a buy: how many percent below the current price (1–99). For a sell: how many percent above (any number above 0) |
| in $ | The price of one token in dollars |
| in FDV | The token's FDV in dollars. You can use K and M: 1.5K = 1,500, 2M = 2,000,000 |
Quick buttons set the price from the current one: −10% to −90% for a buy, +10% to +200% for a sell.
A price in %, $ or FDV is converted once into a GRAM price when you tap «Create order». From then on the order follows the GRAM price. So if the GRAM to dollar rate changes, the order still fires at the same GRAM price.
4. Set the amount
Tap 💵 Amount and choose how to set it.
For a buy:
- in GRAM: how much GRAM to spend from each wallet.
- in %: what share of each wallet's GRAM balance to spend (1–100). It is calculated when the order is created.
- in $: an amount in dollars. The bot converts it to GRAM at the current rate.
For a sell:
- in the first mode the bot asks how many tokens to sell;
- in %: what share of the tokens in the wallet to sell (1–100). It is calculated from the balance at the moment the order fills;
- in $: how many dollars' worth to sell. The bot converts it to a token amount at the current price.
The bot never sells more than the wallet holds.
5. Check the other settings
- 🍌 Slippage (slippage): how far the price may move while the trade travels through the network, from 0.01 to 100%. The default comes from your settings: «Settings» → «Slippage», the «Buy» and «Sell» rows for DEX tokens and «Memepad Buy» and «Memepad Sell» for launchpad tokens. If you never changed them, they are 10%.
- 🆘 Max Price Impact: how much your trade may move the price (price impact), from 0 to 80%. Default 50%. If the impact is higher, the order does not fill and waits.
- ⏳ Expires: when the order removes itself. The default is «not set», meaning no expiry. Type
7d(days),1m(months),1y(years), up to 10 years, or a UTC date and time such as24.10 15:00or24.10.2026 15:00. - ↗️ Retries (if failed): how many times to retry the order if the DEX returned the trade because the price moved. From 0 to 10, default 2. Each retry costs gas. 0 means no retries.
- Name: your own label for the order, shown in the order card. Optional.
- Refresh: refresh the token price and the balances in the window.
A buy also has Take Profit and Stop Loss: automatic sells after the buy fills. See Take Profit and Stop Loss.
6. Create the order
Once at least one wallet is selected and the price is set, the 🚀 Create order button appears. Tap it.
If the order price is already «passed» (for a buy it is above the current price, for a sell below), the bot warns you, explains when and how the order will fill, and asks you to confirm: Yes or Cancel.
After that you get «✅ Limit order created» with the token, the DEX, the settings and the wallets.
- 🗑 Delete this order: cancel exactly this order. With several wallets the button reads «🗑 Delete these orders (N)» and deletes all orders of this launch.
- 📊 My orders: the list of all your limit orders.
- ⬅️ Menu: the main menu.
- Back: back to the token card.
What happens when the price is reached
The bot sends the trade and a «Limit order fill» message. When the network confirms the trade, the message updates.
If something gets in the way, the bot tells you:
- Not enough GRAM. For example: «⚠️ Limit order PEPE: wallet W1 has 0.50 GRAM, 1.25 needed. It fills after a top-up if the price is within the limit order.» The order stays active. Top up the wallet and it fills if the price still fits.
- The pool is too thin for your amount. The bot says the chart price reached the order price, but the average trade price would be worse. It tells you at which chart price the order will fill, or suggests a smaller amount.
- The DEX returned the trade because of the price. The funds come back to the wallet, and the order stays active and tries again until the retries run out. The bot shows which retry it is, for example «retry 1 of 2». When the retries are used up, the order is removed.
- The DEX refused the trade for another reason. A retry would not help, so the order is removed at once, and the bot explains why.
- Nothing to sell. If the wallet holds none of the token, the bot says «no tokens to sell in the balance».
When the expiry passes, the order is simply removed.
Managing your orders
Tap 📊 Limit orders in the main menu. The «📊 Limit orders» list opens.
Each row shows the token ticker, 🟢 Buy or 🔴 Sell, and the FDV at which the order fires. A ⏳ at the start of a row means the order is filling right now. Take Profit and Stop Loss that are already live after their buy also appear here as «🎯 TP» and «🛡 SL».
Tap an order to open its card: token, type, trigger (for example «price ≤ X»), amount, slippage, expiry, how it fills, retries and status.
- ✏️ Edit: opens the same window with the current settings. After 🚀 Create order the old order is replaced by the new one, and you get «✅ Limit order updated». You can edit while the order is waiting.
- 🛑 Delete: delete the order together with its Take Profit and Stop Loss.
- 🛑 Delete all (in the list): delete all limit orders at once. The bot asks you to confirm and shows how many will be cancelled.
If an order's trade is already on its way, it cannot be stopped. But if the DEX returns it, there will be no retry.
Good to know
- You can have up to 50 active orders. An order on each wallet counts separately.
- If a wallet has no balance when you create the order (or, for a buy, less than the order amount), the bot skips it and says «Wallets without balance skipped».
- Limit orders work with DEX tokens and with launchpad tokens. The exception is StonksV2 tokens before the bond.
- For tokens with virtual liquidity (sTONks) the window warns you: the order fires when the price reaches the order price, but buys or sells at market within the slippage, so the price may end up worse than the order price.
- TonConnect wallets. Limit orders, Take Profit and Stop Loss are not available for wallets connected via TonConnect. Such a wallet needs you to approve every trade in the wallet app, while a limit order fires automatically, maybe when you are away. For limit orders, use a wallet created or imported in the bot. If you have no other wallets, the bot replies «This feature is not available for wallets connected via TonConnect».
Troubleshooting
«Limit orders are unavailable: no GRAM pool found.» The token has no pool with GRAM, so a limit order cannot trade it. If you are sure a pool exists, contact support: @pepegungster.
«Limit orders for StonksV2 before the bond are not supported yet – they become available after the token lists on a DEX.» Wait until the token lists on a DEX and place the order again.
«❌ Choose a wallet and set the price» Select at least one wallet and tap 📊 Price.
«❌ Active orders limit: 50. Cancel some in «📊 My orders».» Delete the orders you no longer need in 📊 Limit orders.
The chart touched my price but the order did not fill. Possible reasons: your amount does not fit at the order price (the bot sends a message with the price at which it will fill), the trade would move the price more than «Max Price Impact», or the wallet is short of GRAM. The price may also have touched the level only for a very short moment.
«The window is outdated, open it again» The order window closed, for example after a restart. Open it again from the token card.
What's next
- Take Profit and Stop Loss: sell automatically after a buy.
- Copy trade: repeat another wallet's trades.
