Quick start: your first token buy in 5 minutes

In short

1. Open the botโ€‹

Tap the button below or find @PepeGunBot in Telegram and tap Start.

The bot sends its main menu. While you have no wallet, the top says ยซ๐Ÿ‘› No wallet yet โ€“ create one in ยซWalletsยป.ยป The bot takes its language from your Telegram settings; you can change it in โš™๏ธ Settings โ†’ ๐ŸŒ Language.

2. Create a walletโ€‹

  1. Tap ๐Ÿ‘› Wallets โ†’ Create wallet.
  2. Choose W5. It is the newest TON wallet version and fine to start with.
  3. The bot sends the wallet address and its seed phrase: 24 words under a spoiler. Write them down in order on paper and keep them where nobody can see them.
  4. Tap ๐Ÿ—‘ Saved it โ€“ hide so the phrase disappears from the chat.
The seed phrase is your money

Whoever knows these 24 words fully controls the wallet. Never show or forward them to anyone, not even to "support".

Your first wallet is named W1 and becomes the main one (๐Ÿ‘‘) right away.

Already have a wallet?

You can import it with a seed phrase, move it from Telegram Wallet or connect it via TonConnect if you'd rather not give the bot the phrase. TonConnect has a limit: limit orders, TP/SL, copy trade and snipes don't work with it.

3. Top up the walletโ€‹

  1. In ๐Ÿ‘› Wallets, open your W1 wallet and tap Top up.
  2. Tap Copy address (or scan the QR code).
  3. Send GRAM to this address from an exchange or another wallet. When withdrawing from an exchange, choose the TON network.

When the money arrives, the bot sends ยซ๐Ÿ’ฐ Received โ€ฆยป. Send the amount you're ready to trade with plus a little extra: every operation on the network costs a small amount of gas.

4. Buy your first tokenโ€‹

  1. Open a token. Send the bot a token address (it starts with EQโ€ฆ or UQโ€ฆ), a link that contains it, or a ticker with a dollar sign, such as $NOT. The bot replies with the token card: chart, price, liquidity and buttons.
  2. Check the wallet. In the card, under Refresh and Share, the wallet the trade will come from is selected. Right now it's W1.
  3. Tap an amount. ๐Ÿ’Ž 5 GRAM, ๐Ÿ’Ž 20 GRAM and the other amount buttons buy at once, with no extra questions. For a first try, tap โœ๏ธ Custom amount and type a small number, such as 1.

The bot sends ยซSwapping...ยป, and a few seconds later the same message turns into ยซSwap confirmedยป. The tokens are in your wallet and a position has been created.

Before you buy

Anyone can copy a ticker. Check the token address against the project's official channel and look at the warnings in the card: if liquidity is low, the bot marks it.

5. Watch the position and sellโ€‹

  • ๐Ÿ’ผ Positions in the main menu shows all your tokens and their PnL: how much you are up or down.
  • To sell, open the token card (the ๐Ÿš€ Trade link in positions, or the address again), tap Mode ๐Ÿ“ˆ Buy (๐Ÿ”€) so it becomes Mode ๐Ÿ“‰ Sell (๐Ÿ”€), and pick a share: ๐Ÿช™ 25%, ๐Ÿช™ 50%, ๐Ÿช™ 75% or ๐Ÿช™ 100%.
  • After the sale the bot sends a picture with your result that you can share with friends.
