How to invite friends to Pepegun

In short

Your referral link is in the 👍 Referrals menu. Share it in chats with one button, give it a short name of your own and send friends Fast Buy links to tokens: they earn you another 10%.

1. Open the referral menu​

In the main menu tap 👍 Referrals. The /referral command opens it too.

The line «🔫 Your link:» shows your link, for example https://t.me/PepeGunBot?start=abc123. Tap it and Telegram copies it. Paste it anywhere: a chat, a channel, your profile bio.

Share an invitation in a chat​

  1. In the referral menu tap Share.
  2. Pick the chat you want to send the invitation to.
  3. The input field fills with @PepeGunBot :ref, and a card «Share the referral link» shows above it. Tap the card.

The chat gets the message «🥂 Join PepeGun and become a true sharpshooter on TON!» with a 🚀 Open PepeGun button. Your link is behind the button.

tip

You can do the same in any chat without the menu: type @PepeGunBot ref and pick the card.

A Fast Buy link opens the token's card for your friend right away, where they can buy in one tap. If they trade that token within 24 hours, you get another 10% of the bot's fee on those trades. More in How it works.

How to get one:

  • The Share button on a token card. The bot sends the message «💰 Share with friends and get up to 60% of the fees!» with a link like https://t.me/PepeGunBot?start=abc123_EQ…. Forward it or copy the link. If the card shows your position in this token, the bot sends a picture with your result (PnL) and your regular link instead.
  • A token card in any chat. Type @PepeGunBot and a token's name or address in a chat, then pick the token from the list. The chat gets a card with a 🚀 Buy button: that is your Fast Buy link.

After a sale the bot may send a picture with the trade's result. Its caption already carries your referral link.

  • ↗️ Share PnL: post the picture in any chat. It comes with an 🚀 Open PepeGun button that carries your link.
  • 🫣 Hide value: hide the GRAM amounts and show only the percent.

Rename your link​

By default your link name is a random set of letters and digits. You can replace it with your own, for example https://t.me/PepeGunBot?start=pepe777.

  1. In the referral menu tap Rename.
  2. The bot asks: «Think up a new link name: only Latin letters (a-z) and digits (0-9), 2 to 10 characters.»
  3. Send the name. Capital letters are turned into lower case for you.

The menu updates and the «Your link» line shows the new link.

The old link stops working

After a rename only the new link works. People who open the old one are not linked to you. So pick the name before you start sharing your link. The referrals you already have stay yours.

If the name is not accepted, the bot says why and shows ✏️ Try again and 🔗 Referrals:

  • the name has characters other than Latin letters and digits, or is shorter than 2 or longer than 10 characters;
  • the name is already taken by someone else: pick another one.

Good to know​

  • You have one link name for the whole account: the regular link and all your Fast Buy links use it.
  • Your link first brings a friend into the bot. They become your referral after their first trade within 24 hours.
  • You cannot become your own referral through your own link: the bot ignores such opens.
