Token charts in Pepegun – timeframes, FDV and trade marks

In short

A chart sits above every token card. The timeframe buttons under it switch the candles, and in the settings you can turn on marks of your buys and sells, a light theme and a price scale instead of FDV.

How to open a chart

You do not need to open anything: the chart comes with the token card, as a picture above the text. Tokens with a pool and tokens on a launchpad curve both have one. How to open a card: How to open a token.

What is on the chart

  • Header: the token's ticker and name, the timeframe, the token's age and the price change over the visible period.
  • A strip of numbers:
    • FDV – the token's current FDV;
    • LIQ – the pool's liquidity (what is it);
    • VOL – trading volume over the last 24 hours;
    • TXNS – the number of trades over the last 24 hours;
    • 1H and 6H – the price change over 1 and 6 hours.
  • Candles – each shows the open, close, high and low price for its slice of time (timeframe). The line on the right is the current price.
  • Scale on the right – in FDV by default, not in the price of one token: this makes tokens with different supplies easier to compare. You can switch it to price in Chart settings.

Timeframes

When a card opens, the bot picks the timeframe by the token's age, and no button is marked:

Token ageTimeframe
under 30 minutes1m
under 4 hours5m
under a day30m
under 10 days1h
under 45 days6h
under 90 days1d
older7d

Tap a timeframe button under the chart and the chart is redrawn. The selected button is marked ✔️. The Auto button, if it is on, hands the choice back to the bot.

There are 10 options in total: 1s, 1m, 5m, 30m, 1h, 6h, 12h, 1d, 7d and Auto. A card fits up to 6 buttons. By default they are 1m, 5m, 30m, 1h, 1d, 7d. Change the set in Chart settings.

Marks of your trades

If marks are on in the settings, the chart of a token you traded through the bot shows your buys and sells:

  • 📍 Marks – just buy and sell icons;
  • 📍 Marks + prices – icons plus the FDV at which the trade went through.

A new trade gets onto the chart once the network confirms it. To see it, tap Refresh on the card.

The chart in groups and inline cards

Cards the bot posts in groups, or that you post via @PepeGunBot, have their own buttons: 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h and Refresh. The selected timeframe is wrapped in dots: •5m•. Your chart settings do not apply to these cards.

Good to know

  • The chart is a picture that Telegram shows as a preview. If it did not update, tap Refresh on the card.
  • Chart settings (marks, theme, scale, buttons) are shared by all your cards: Chart settings.
  • The chart carries an @PepeGunBot watermark at the bottom.

If something goes wrong

  • No timeframe buttons. They are switched off in Chart settings (the Off button), or no timeframe is selected.
  • No marks of my trades. Marks only show on tokens you traded through the bot, and only if 📍 Marks or 📍 Marks + prices is selected in the settings.
  • The bot picked a timeframe that is not among my buttons. That is by design: when a card opens, the bot picks from all timeframes by the token's age. Tap one of your buttons to switch.
