The Pepegun token launcher

In short

The launcher creates your own token on TON in a couple of minutes, with no code and no other websites. You can issue a standard token and manage it, or launch a token on the moon.cx or Uranus launchpad.

How it works​

You fill in the token's card: a picture, a name, a ticker and a description. The bot checks the fields, shows how much GRAM will leave your wallet and, once you confirm, sends everything to the network. As soon as the network confirms, the bot sends you the token's address and a link to an explorer.

Every token you have created is listed in one place: 🔎 My deploys.

How to open the launcher​

In the main menu tap 🚀 Launcher. The «Launches» screen opens. You can also open it with the /deploys command.

On the screen:

  • «Your tokens: N»: how many tokens you have created (the line appears after the first one).
  • A short note on what you can do here.
  • 👛 New deploy: create a new token.
  • 🔎 My deploys: the list of your tokens, with their number in brackets, e.g. «My deploys (3)».
  • ⬅️ Back: back to the main menu.

Which token to choose​

Tap 👛 New deploy and the bot asks which token you want to create.

A standard token suits you if you want to decide how many tokens to issue and keep control. The whole supply lands in your wallet right away. For people to buy and sell it, the token needs a pool on an exchange, which is created separately.

A launchpad (what is it) suits you if you want the token to be tradable at once. On moon.cx and Uranus the token starts trading on a bonding curve: the price goes up with every buy. The platform sets the supply, and you can buy some of your own token straight away with a first buy.

Good to know​

  • The launcher needs a wallet in the bot with some GRAM on it. You can create or connect a wallet in 👛 Wallets: how to create or import a wallet.
  • Pepegun charges no separate fee in the launcher. Everything that will leave your wallet is shown on the «Check the token» screen before anything is sent.
  • What a launch costs:
    • standard token: 0.16 GRAM + network fee, with at least 0.2 GRAM in the wallet;
    • moon.cx: the moon.cx fee + 0.2 GRAM of gas + the first buy + network fee;
    • Uranus: the first buy + 0.1 GRAM of gas + network fee.
  • The launcher also works with wallets connected through TonConnect: you approve every send in your wallet app. More: Launcher and TonConnect.
  • Token links open in the explorer you picked in the settings.

If something goes wrong​

  • «The launcher is unavailable right now» when you tap 🚀 Launcher: the launcher is temporarily down. Try again a bit later.
  • No moon.cx and Uranus buttons: launches on launchpads are switched off at the moment, only a standard token is available.
