Managing wallets in Pepegun

In short

👛 Wallets holds all your wallets with their balances. Here you can choose the main wallet, top up, rename a wallet, view its seed phrase or delete it from the bot.

The wallet list​

Open 👛 Wallets in the main menu or send the /wallets command. At the top the bot shows how many wallets you have and the total balance of all of them in GRAM and in dollars.

Each wallet takes one row: name, GRAM balance and dollar value. Tap any part of the row to open the wallet card.

Marks in the list:

  • 👑 the main wallet. It is always first.
  • 📎 a wallet connected via TonConnect.
  • ? instead of a balance: the bot could not read the balance right now. Open the screen again in a couple of seconds.

Long names are cut to 7 characters on the buttons. With more than four wallets, use the arrows to page through the list.

Below the list: Create wallet, Import, TonConnect, Back and Delete all.

The total balance of all wallets is also shown in the main menu, in the «Balance» line.

The wallet card​

The card shows:

  • the wallet name (a link to the explorer) and a 👑 if it is the main wallet;
  • the address in two forms: UQ and EQ. It is the same account on the network, just written two ways;
  • the version: W5, V4, Highload, Telegram Wallet, or TonConnect with the app name;
  • the balance in GRAM and in dollars.

Card buttons: Rename, Send, Seed phrase, Top up, Make main (if the wallet is not the main one yet), Back and Delete. A TonConnect wallet has no Seed phrase button, and Disconnect replaces Delete.

The main wallet​

The main wallet has a 👑. The bot picks it for you:

  • on a token card, when you are about to buy or sell;
  • in the 💸 Send form;
  • in the new limit order form.

You can always change the choice in the form itself. One exception on the token card: if you have a default bundle (⭐) in the settings, its wallets are picked instead.

How to change the main wallet. Open the card of the wallet you want and tap Make main. The bot shows «👑 Made main», and the crown moves to that wallet.

Your first wallet becomes the main one by itself. If you delete the main wallet, the 👑 goes to the oldest remaining wallet.

Top up a wallet​

  1. Open the wallet card and tap Top up.
  2. The bot sends a QR code and a transfer link to this wallet.
  3. Tap Copy address and paste it as the recipient on an exchange or in another wallet. You can also just scan the QR code with a wallet app. Copy link copies a transfer link with this address.
  4. Send GRAM. When withdrawing from an exchange, choose the TON network.

When the money arrives, the bot sends a «💰 Received …» notice: the amount, the wallet and the sender, with Transaction and Hide buttons. If a token with a market arrives, there are also Buy and Sell buttons.

  • The bot does not report deposits below 0.1 GRAM.
  • These notices are on by default. You can turn them off in ⚙️ Settings → 🆘 Alerts → Incoming transactions.

Rename a wallet​

Tap Rename on the card and send the new name: up to 24 characters. The card updates right away. The name shows in lists, in the send form and in notices.

View the seed phrase​

Tap Seed phrase on the card. The bot shows the phrase under a spoiler with the reminder «Never show it to anyone». When you are done, tap 🗑 Hide and only «🔒 Seed phrase hidden» stays in the chat.

For a Telegram Wallet, the bot shows the current phrase that matches the wallet's key: 12 or 24 words. A TonConnect wallet has no phrase in the bot.

Delete a wallet​

  1. Tap Delete on the card.
  2. The bot warns: «This permanently deletes the wallet … Make sure you have saved the secret key!»
  3. Tap Delete again to confirm, or Back to change your mind.

What deleting does:

  • the wallet leaves the bot together with its limit orders;
  • «Positions» is recounted without this wallet: tokens that were only on it disappear from there;
  • no money is moved: it stays at the wallet address on the network. Only the seed phrase gets you back in, for example by importing it again.

The Delete all button under the wallet list deletes every wallet at once, also after a confirmation.

A TonConnect wallet is removed with Disconnect: the bot disconnects from the wallet app, and the funds stay in the wallet itself.

Good to know​

  • Limit: 10 wallets per account, Telegram Wallet and TonConnect included.
  • The bot names wallets W1, W2 and so on. A new name can be up to 24 characters.
  • Links on the card open in the explorer chosen in ⚙️ Settings → 💎 Explorers. Tonviewer is the default.

Troubleshooting​

  • «Wallet not found». The wallet was already deleted. Go back to 👛 Wallets.
  • The balance did not change after a top-up. The transfer is still on its way. Open the wallet list again in a few seconds, or check the transfer with the Transaction button in the notice.
  • «The limit of 10 wallets is reached». Delete a wallet you don't need to add a new one.
