How to import a Telegram Wallet into Pepegun

In short

If your GRAM is in Telegram Wallet, you can add that wallet to the bot with its address and seed phrase. After the import it works like any other wallet in the bot: trading, transfers, limit orders, copy trade and snipes.

Import or TonConnect​

There are two ways to add a Telegram Wallet:

  • Import with the phrase (this page). The bot signs trades from this wallet by itself, so every feature works, including the automatic ones.
  • Connect via TonConnect. No phrase needed, but you confirm every trade in Telegram Wallet, and limit orders, copy trade and snipes are not available for such a wallet.

The same address can't be added both ways at once.

How it works​

You send the wallet address and its current seed phrase in one message. The bot checks on the network that the phrase matches this wallet's current signing key. If it doesn't, the wallet is not added.

Step by step​

1. Open the Telegram Wallet import​

👛 Wallets → Import → Telegram Wallet. The «Telegram Wallet import» screen opens.

2. Get the address and the phrase ready​

You will need:

  • the Telegram Wallet address (it usually starts with UQ);
  • the seed phrase from the Telegram Wallet backup: 12 or 24 words.

If the wallet key was changed before, the backup has 24 words: words 1–12 are the original phrase and words 13–24 are the current one. You can send all 24, the bot finds the right part itself.

3. Send it in one message​

The address first, then the words separated by spaces:

The bot deletes this message from the chat right away, so the phrase does not stay in your history.

4. Done​

If everything is right, the import screen turns into the wallet card. The «Version» line says Telegram Wallet.

The regular import works too

If you send «address + words» on the regular import screen (after Import), the bot sees it is a Telegram Wallet and imports it the same way.

Good to know​

  • A Telegram Wallet counts toward the common limit: up to 10 wallets per account.
  • The bot names it in order (W1, W2…). If it is your first wallet, it becomes the main one 👑.
  • The Seed phrase button on the card shows the wallet's current phrase: 12 or 24 words.
  • After an error the import screen stays open: just send the corrected message.

Troubleshooting​

  • «❌ The wallet address and 12 or 24 words are needed in one message: the address first, then the words». Make sure everything is in one message, the address comes first, and there are exactly 12 or 24 words.
  • «❌ This does not look like a wallet address». The address was copied with a mistake or is not first. Copy it again from Telegram Wallet.
  • «❌ The seed phrase cannot be read». There is a typo in the words. Check the phrase against your backup.
  • «❌ This address is not a Telegram Wallet wallet». It is a different kind of wallet. Add it with the regular Import and a 24-word phrase.
  • «❌ The phrase does not match this wallet». The current phrase is needed. If the key was changed, that is words 13–24 of the backup.
  • «❌ This wallet is frozen on the network, it cannot be imported». The bot can't work with such a wallet.
  • «⚠️ Could not read the wallet on the network». A temporary problem. Try again in a minute.
  • The bot says the wallet is already added. This address is already in the bot, including when it is connected via TonConnect.
